Welcome: why this blog exists

This blog has a previous era. Years of posts about git, personal finance, productivity, the early language models... All of it is still reachable in the archive, exactly as I wrote it. But it no longer represents what's on my mind.

What's on my mind now is building software with AI. It's the biggest change I've seen in my profession, and it moves at a speed that's hard to absorb. I want to write it down while I live it: what I try, what I learn, what makes me change my mind. Before I forget what I saw.

I'm not promising cadence. I don't have a publishing schedule. I'll write when I have something to say.
